Mantel Project

Below is a restoration project I completed. This mantel was removed from a house owned by our family in Middleway, WV before demolition. As far as we know, this mantel is over 200 years old. It was stored on our farm for years before I had the bright idea to take it on as a project and install in my basement. Other than Middleway, the house was mostly referenced by my great-aunt Eleanor as the "house in Clip" in reference to the haunting of Wizard Clip in the 1790's.
